1. Overview
At Elevator Planner, we want you to be completely satisfied with our Service. This Refund Policy
explains the circumstances under which you may request a refund and how the refund process works.
2. Free Trial Period
All new users receive a 90-day free trial starting from the date of first login
after email confirmation. During the trial period:
- No credit card required to start trial
- Full access to all features
- No charges during the 90-day trial period
- Even if you subscribe early, first payment occurs only after trial ends (you keep the full 90 days free)
- Cancel anytime during trial with no charges
3. Subscription Refunds
3.1 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a full refund within 30 days of your first paid subscription charge.
If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason within 30 days of your initial payment,
contact us at info@elevatorplanner.com for a full refund.
3.2 Refunds After 30 Days
After the initial 30-day period, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
Circumstances that may warrant a refund include:
- Technical issues that prevent you from using the Service
- Billing errors or duplicate charges
- Service downtime exceeding 24 hours
4. Soft Launch Special Pricing
4.1 Lifetime Rate ($4/month)
Users who subscribe during the soft launch period (December 2025 - February 2026) receive a
$4/month lifetime rate. This rate is guaranteed for as long as you maintain
an active subscription.
Refund Policy for Lifetime Rate Subscribers:
- 30-day money-back guarantee applies
- If you cancel and later resubscribe, you will be charged the current regular rate ($15/month)
- Lifetime rate is non-transferable
4.2 Regular Pricing ($15/month)
Starting March 2026, new subscribers will be charged $15/month. The same refund policies apply.
5. Cancellation Policy
5.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You retain access to the Service until the end of the paid period
- No partial month refunds (unless within the 30-day guarantee period)
5.3 Account Data After Cancellation
- Your account data is retained for 30 days after cancellation
- You may reactivate your account within 30 days without losing data
- After 30 days, all account data is permanently deleted
- You may request a data export before cancellation
6. Refund Processing
6.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at info@elevatorplanner.com with:
- Your account email address
- Reason for the refund request
- Date of original charge
6.2 Refund Timeframe
- Refund requests are reviewed and processed within 2-4 business days
- Once approved, Stripe™ submits the refund to your bank immediately
- Your bank may take up to 5-10 additional business days to process the refund
- Total timeframe: Up to 14 business days from initial request
Understanding "Pending" Refunds:
- You may see the refund appear as "pending" on your statement before it's fully processed
- During the pending period, the funds are visible but not yet available for use
- This is normal bank processing and does not indicate a problem with the refund
Important Note:
- Some refunds may be processed as a "reversal," meaning the original charge disappears from your statement entirely rather than appearing as a separate credit
- This typically happens when the refund is issued shortly after the original charge
- If you don't see the refund after 10 business days from our approval, contact your bank for more information
7. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be provided in the following circumstances:
- Violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- Account termination due to fraudulent activity
- Use of false license information
- Requests made more than 30 days after the subscription charge (unless extenuating circumstances)
- User error or failure to utilize the Service
8. Billing Disputes
If you notice an unexpected charge or billing error, please contact us immediately at
info@elevatorplanner.com. We will investigate
and resolve the issue promptly.
Common billing questions:
- Duplicate charges: Full refund for duplicate charges
- Forgot to cancel: May be eligible for a prorated refund
- Trial expired without notice: May be eligible for a refund if contacted within 7 days
9. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your credit card company or bank without first contacting us:
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
- We reserve the right to dispute unjustified chargebacks
- Repeated chargebacks may result in permanent account termination
Please contact us first! We're happy to work with you to resolve any billing issues
without the need for chargebacks.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated
"Last Updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated via email.
